RMS and SAF announced at the SAF National Convention that the 2022 recipient of the joint forestry scholarship is Sara Groban, a junior at California Polytechnic State University Humboldt.

2021/2022 Reforestation and Sustainable Forest Management Efforts
Each year RMS plants millions of trees on the lands we manage for our global investment clients. In fact, in 2021-2022, our reforestation efforts resulted in more than 35 million new seedlings being planted in the United States and Brazil. Scott T. Mooney Joins RMS as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions
Resource Management Service, LLC (RMS), announces that it has hired forest transaction specialist Scott T. Mooney to head up the firm’s global acquisition sourcing efforts. Mooney comes to RMS from Conservation Resource Partners of Exeter, New Hampshire. His title is Senior Vice President, Acquisitions, and he assumed his new responsibilities with RMS on May 9. He will report to RMS President and CEO, Alex Hinson.

RMS is pleased to announce the recipients of The Craig Blair — RMS Forestry Scholarship. This is the first group of talented students to be awarded the scholarship since it was renamed earlier this year in honor of our former President and CEO.

products that were required to execute the project.
Steven King Joins RMS as Senior Vice President, Business Development
Resource Management Service, LLC (RMS), announces that it has hired Steven King to oversee the firm’s business development efforts. Prior to joining RMS, King worked in a variety of capacities for Campbell Global, Rayonier, James W. Sewall Company, and Jaakko Pöyry Consulting. He also worked for RMS in other roles earlier in his career and is therefore familiar with the firm’s history and culture.
