  • Chuck Harrell

    Director, Acquisitions

As the manager of our asset acquisition function, I enjoy my opportunity to create value for our clients through sound investment underwriting. We know that high quality timberland placements aren’t made through hunches, but with rigorous and detailed processes that examine the fundamentals of what drives value in forest investments. Leveraging deep operating excellence, financial expertise, and broad industry and conservation relationships are key to RMS’s success as an investment manager.
  • Robby Evans

    Resource Forester

One of my favorite things about my role as a resource forester for RMS is that I see every day how we create forest value for our clients across the landscapes we manage for them. My number one responsibility is developing and executing forest management prescriptions that increase timber and land values and this hands-on approach is a key element of our forest investment strategy. Being on the ground and making decisions about how best to optimize the value of a forest asset for our clients is exciting. It fuels my drive and provides all of the motivation I need to get up and go to work every day. I love what I do.

    Mike McCorvey

    District Manager

While overseeing forest operations, my work is a continuation of a lifetime spent outdoors and surrounded by nature. Like many at RMS, I grew up farming, hunting and fishing, while developing a special interest in forests and forestry. I am grateful to have built a career around managing forest resources sustainably, protecting water quality and bringing an overall stewardship ethic to the operation of our investors’ forests. RMS’ focus on teamwork and the supportive family atmosphere are an added bonus.

    Travis Hughes

    Senior Forest Planner

At RMS, I have been exposed to virtually every aspect of forest investing, allowing me to chart a career path with a variety of opportunities to pursue both personal and professional interests. My job focuses on optimizing the biological productivity and long-term, financial performance of investors’ forests by developing strategies that allow RMS to create timber, land and non-forest values. I admire RMS’ focus on forestry and that it is managed by professional foresters who have a passion for what they do.
