Mary Kay Greer


Mary Kay leads the global marketing and communications strategy for RMS, ensuring the firm’s messaging aligns with its long-term business objectives. She oversees corporate branding, media relations, public affairs, internal communications, philanthropic initiatives, and digital and social media engagement.
Among her varied responsibilities, Mary Kay directs integrated marketing initiatives that support business development, client relations, and forest sustainability. This entails the creation of high-impact thought leadership materials, stakeholder and multimedia content, including the firm’s annual global sustainability report, which reinforces the firm’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. Beyond her marketing leadership, Mary Kay drives RMS’ philanthropic and community engagement initiatives. She manages the firm’s Community Roots program as well as its long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity, coordinating funding commitments, volunteer efforts, and industry partnerships to expand RMS’ social impact. Mary Kay is also dedicated to fostering the next generation of forestry professionals. She oversees the RMS Forest of the Future program, which is operated in conjunction with North Carolina State University, and The Craig Blair RMS Forestry Scholarship. Both initiatives provide funding and paid internships to students pursuing careers in forestry and natural resource management. Prior to assuming her current role, Mary Kay directed RMS’ client relations, client servicing, and investor communications functions. She has more than 26 years of progressive experience in client relations and marketing for institutional timberland investment. Mary Kay, who attended Auburn University of Montgomery, is active in many local charities in the Birmingham, Alabama, area.
